Next, I have been trying to avoid this topic, but it calls for it.
ADSENSE!
Many people have different views on google adsense. Some say it is a 'scam', and others live off of it. When it comes down to it, adsense is only what you make of it.
When applying to become part of google adsense the process can be quite long through the eyes of most viewers. Filing out the information needed is not everyone's 'cup of tea'. After filling out the information, they will then say that you must wait for them to check your website, or blog, and see if it is what they are looking for. This process usually takes at least 2 days.
I must say, it is a 50/50 chance of being accepted. I, myself, have been turned down a couple of times until I have decided to give it one more try. Which I have, and I made it!.
[As you can see, there are ads all around my page].
If you have a blog or website, I highly recommend you sign up, you have nothing to lose, and it is completely free. You can only gain in this experience.

How does it work?

Well, to make a long complicated story short and to the point. Google puts ads on your website, and every time someone clicks on the ad, money goes to...guess...YOU!
Do NOT click your own ads. If you have been researching adsence for some time, i am more than positive you have heard this. They can and with no doubt about it WILL suspend your adsence account, which means no money for you :(

Traffic:
Simple.
The more people that come to your website, the more people see the ads.
The more people see the ads, the more people click the ads.
The more people click the ads, the more money in you pocket.

How do you get paid?
This is where we go back to the sign up section. You were previously asked to enter your address and such. Keep in mind that this is COMPLETELY safe. Once you reach 100 dollars in your adsence account, they send your check at the end of the month [as long as it is at or above $100]. They do not use paypal, although it would have been very convenient, it is easier for them to just send you a check. Reaching $100 dollars isn't that hard, as long as you know how to manage your account, keep people coming, maintain traffic, and get them clicking ads. All you have to do is keep an eye out, and make money while you sleep, provided everything goes according to plan.

So I was snooping around on the website, and found the 'typical' prices and charges that you would normally charge. [Just incase I didnt mention before, joining constant content and writing/selling is absolutly FREE]

The first row of prices are for the usage prices, and the second row or prices [the higher prices] are for unique/exclusive prices.


For those who dont know what the difference is, here you go:

Usage/Regular purchase means the article can be purchased over and over again by different people. If the content is popular, it could be purchased by 10 different websites for use.



A Unique/Exclusive price means as soon as the content is purchased with a unique license we take the content off our site and it is no longer for sale. This is a way for webmasters to purchase content that is not on any other website. It is possible to have content purchased a couple times with a usage license and then purchased with a Unique one. You can always choose not to have a Unique price. Just set the unique price to 0 and customers will not be able to purchase the content out right.

Constant Contant

This is an amazing website that I recently started to use. Turns out that when it comes to Constant Contant, bidding and hoping that you get a job, comes to and end. YES THATS RIGHT, I SAID END! with constant contant, people actually pay for you!!!! you right articles and people can buy them, or pay to use them. Its really cool. Makes everything alot easier too. On top of that, some people actually REQUEST articles saying that they will pay you to do it. If you accept the article and are sure you can do it, then go for it!
Basically, your selling your writing skills. And people pay to use your writing. Kind of like 'Ghost writing' if your fimiliar with it.

You get to choose how much you want your articles will sell for. Great articles that are around 900 words can sell for $30 yep, I said $30.
Simple articles, 200 words or so, can even go for $10.

I consider this website a LIFE SAVER because out of all the freelance websites I have used, like Associated content, etc, they paid me $3 for my hard work, 600 word articles. Its a big sigh of relief knowing that there is a website that thinks 600 words is worth $25 rather than $3.

Payout for Constant Contant is the first of everymonth. Which gives you a good 30 to gather up all those articles and type up some article requests. You choose what you want to write about, who you want to write for, and how much you get paid. Some request will actully pay you a good $60-$70 dollars depending on what you are looking for. Best of all, THEY PAY THROUGH PAYPAL! yay! =]

The web site is pretty simple, there are tons of things to do. I've written book reviews, and political views. After submitting an article, it goes into review, and will be put on the website search database in about 1 day or so.

I must admit, this website takes freelancing to a whole other level. The pay is amazing, and comes easy.
